ChuKits

ChuKits is a bilingual field guide for identifying and understanding data-center, HPC/AI, mining-facility, and related technical tools and equipment. It is publicly available at chukits.com.

What it does

The guide supports discovery from whatever the person actually has: a name, a description of what the thing does or where it sits, or a photograph. Entries are bilingual, so a tool known under one language’s name remains findable under the other.

Three commitments shape how it behaves:

• Privacy-conscious image handling — image-based lookup is treated as a sensitive operation, not as a free source of data about the person submitting it.
• Evidence-based abstention — when the available evidence does not identify a tool, the guide says so instead of returning a confident guess. An unhelpful non-answer is preferable to a plausible wrong one in a setting where the wrong part can be the expensive part.
• Structured user correction — people who know the equipment can correct entries through a defined path, so field knowledge has somewhere to go.

Status and limitations

ChuKits is publicly accessible, which is not the same as being complete. It is not a universal catalog of tools and does not claim exhaustive coverage of any category it touches; the equipment domains above describe where the guide is being built out, not a finished inventory. Coverage, bilingual parity, and identification quality vary by category and are still being extended.
